Contemporary Christian artists Caleb and Tenth Avenue North set the mood on Thursday, April 15, for Casting Crowns’ “Until the Whole World Hears” tour, filling the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) with music.

Toby Mac & Relient K - Winter Wonder Slam Tour Review

Toby Mac hit up the Bryce Jordan Center for the Winter Wonder Slam Tour with a group of gifted performers. Not only did his band tear up the stage, but opening artists B. Reith, Stephanie Smith and Relient K did, as well. Each artist added a twist to contemporary Christian music, contributing to the Nov. 19 Christmas show that was like no other.

Domenick Swentosky Review

On Nov. 12th, Domenick Swentosky, of Indiana, Pa, performed, as he does every Thursday night, at The Deli. Swentosky gigs three to four times a week. Acoustic rock is the best way to describe his style, though it may be more accurately described as indefinable.

Pete Yorn Review

After much anticipation, State College finally got what it hoped for – Pete Yorn, the remarkable American singer-songwriter and guitarist who first gained international recognition in 2000 for his film-to-soundtrack hit “Strange Condition,” which was featured in “Me, Myself and Irene.” Following requests from State College residents and students alike, Pete Yorn booked a night show for Oct. 30 at the State Theatre, where he played to a packed house.

Jack’s Mannequin took the stage “expecting to see less than half” of the crowd that showed up Sunday night at Penn State’s Recreation Hall, lead singer Andrew McMahon said.

British Phil Review

British Phil songwriter, Mike Doyle, has written over 30 original songs that he would call “fantasy motifs.”
“Every song has a story behind it,” said Phil Davidson, the band’s first manager and the band’s namesake. “All the songs are character references to people.”
