Charlotte Sometimes to Play SPA Noontime Concert Series this Friday

This Friday, September 2nd, the Student Program Association (SPA) Noontime Concert Series will feature indie pop singer Charlotte Sometimes.  The Concert Series occurs weekly at 12:00 p.m. on Fridays at the first-floor lounge in the HUB.  All shows are free for the public, and are the perfect way to end a hectic week of classes, exams and meetings.

Charlotte Sometimes is a singer/song writer/musician who performs songs that are like mini-autobiographies that easily relate to any audience.  She combines her lyrics with indie pop and alternative rock music to create her signature sound.  Check out my personal favorite song of hers, How I Could Just Kill a Man, for a preview of her stuff.

I first saw Charlotte Sometimes at a SPA Noontime Concert last year, so I can confidently say that you won’t be disappointed with her performance.  She puts on a professional yet funky show as she perfectly delivers each song and manages to connect with the audience through personal anecdotes.  I was so excited when I saw that she was coming back to perform at Penn State, so I will definitely be in attendance tomorrow.
