The Take Action Tour 2011, celebrating its 10th anniversary, will stop at the Altar Bar in Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 26th before concluding the tour in New York City. Bayside and Silverstein will headline the tour that also includes Polar Bear Club, The Swellers, and Texas In July. The tour is run by Hopeless Records through it’s non-profit organization, Sub City.

The goal of the Take Action Tour and Hopeless Records is to give bands and their fans the opportunity to contribute to a cause of their choice, while enjoying music they can all relate to. Sub City has raised 1.8 million dollars for over 50 non-profit organizations over the past ten years. The charity of choice this year is Sex, Etc. whose mission is to raise teen awareness on sex and resources across the country. Past charities include and Driving For Donors.
