The Party Girl Is Back: Ke$ha’s Latest Single, “Die Young”
Posted by Brittany Barth on 12/05 at 04:28 PM

It’s been a while since KeSha, the wild child of pop music, has released any new material. The last single to air on the radio, entitled “Blow,” was back in 2011 from her EP, Cannibal.
However, Ke$ha has reappeared on the music scene with her latest single, “Die Young”. The song isn’t anything groundbreaking and, much like her other singles, “Die Young” is a party anthem. While we can all agree that Ke$ha’s music is lacking in substance, she has always succeeded in creating songs that are fun, catchy and addictive. “Die Young” is no exception.
This single suggests that a new Ke$ha album is on the horizon. I’m sure that like her debut album, it will be bursting at the seams with the same synthesized party music we have come to expect from the singer.

Bio: My name is Brittany Barth, an English major currently in my senior year at Penn State. I am a lover of food, John Mayer, all things nautical and cats. It has always been a dream of mine to be the lead singer of a (successful) band. After graduation, my goal is to become a Young Adult fiction novelist, but I would love to be an advice columnist prior to that. I am excited about graduation and what the future holds for me!
