Third Eye Blind: Preview

Posted by Chelsea Sweithelm on 10/04 at 02:32 PM

Third Eye Blind will be taking the stage of the State Theatre on Monday, October 12th at 8:00pm.

It’s easy to think of Third Eye Blind as one of those 90s new-wave rock bands with a few hit songs that went away, but Third Eye Blind is so much more than a couple of radio hits.

The San Francisco band started creating music in the early 90s with the intention of creating music people could identify with. Their music has a unique cross-generational appeal. From their funky guitar solos to their infectious lyrics, Third Eye Blind’s songs are memorably original.

Together for more than two decades now, Third Eye Blind has released five albums and has cultivated a loyal fan base. Their upcoming show at the State Theatre sold out in a matter of minutes, setting a new record for the venue. The band is highlighting songs off their newest album, Ursa Minor, on this tour, but fans can also expect favorites, such as “Jumper,” “Semi-Charmed Life,” and “How’s It Going To Be.”
