In order to place a bid online, you must agree to the terms of the auction.

1. This online auction is held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Connoisseur's Dinner & Auction on February 12, 2011. Highest bid received online will be the opening bid for that item in the LIVE auction. High bidder will be given the option to have a proxy bidder participate on their behalf in the LIVE auction on February 12 at The Nittany Lion Inn, State College, Pennsylvania. The high bidder will be contacted by a WPSU representative after the close of the online auction.
2. The high online bidder will set a maximum bid to be represented by WPSU staff in $50 increments up to the designated maximum bid. The online bidder will not be permitted to modify the maximum bid.
3. If the online bidder wins the item at the LIVE auction, he/she has 48 hours from the close of the LIVE auction to pay for the item via credit card. If the cost of the item is not paid in full by that time, WPSU has sole control over the disposition of the item and may choose to offer the item to the second highest bidder, or hold the item for re-auction at a later date.
4. A WPSU representative will periodically verify identification of high bidders by phone. If bidder cannot be verified, WPSU reserves the right to remove the bid and/or bidder’s profile.

All financial transactions will occur online with a credit card through the approved Penn State system. Only the credit card of the winning bidder will be charged. No refunds or returns.

The live auction will be video recorded and available on the WPSU website after the event.
