
JOE MYERS, PRODUCER/DIRECTOR
JOE MYERS is a 1998 graduate of the Pennsylvania State
University with a B.A. Film and Video Production. He
has been working with Penn State Public Broadcasting
(PSPB) as director/producer of The Grange Fair:
An American Tradition since 2002. In addition
to his work with PSPB and as a freelance video/graphic
artist, Myers is a faculty member in Penn State’s
college of Communications where he teaches Film/Video
production classes as well as classes focusing on non-linear
Film/TV editing theory and practice. Most recently,
Joe worked with PSPB to produce a documentary spotlighting
sustainable energy projects in Pennsylvania.
Before coming to PSPB, Myers was on location in Australia
where he served as directer/producer for The Love,
a biographical documentary about one man's journey
to understand his past and come to terms with the present,
through his life-long relationship with basketball.
Joe has also worked on several nationally broadcast
commercials on The Travel Channel™.
TOM KEITER, CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
TOM KEITER serves as Creative Director for Penn State
Public Broadcasting (PSPB) and oversees production
of special projects. Before accepting his current position,
Keiter worked as associate director for programming
and production with PSPB. Keiter has over 27 years
as an award-winning documentary film and video producer
and maintained a commercial communications production
company prior to joining PSPB. He was a faculty member
in Penn State’s College of Communications for
fifteen years, serving as professor-in-charge of the
Film/Video Program for six years.
In addition to producing recruitment videos and promotion
campaigns for several major universities, Keiter has
overseen video, multi-media/web components, event design
and staging for Capital Campaign communications at
Penn State, Wilkes University, Bucknell University,
Worcester Polytechnic Inst., Seton Hall University,
Rutgers University, Susquehanna University, the University
of Maryland, and Rensselaer. He is currently involved
in an ongoing series of video/CD-ROM tools supporting
green Architecture.
TRACY VOSBURGH, CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
TRACY VOSBURGH is station manager for Penn State Public
Broadcasting where she is in charge of broadcasting
and production for WPSX-TV, WPSU-FM, as well as Media
Solutions and Educational Services. Among the many
projects she oversees are WPSX-TV’s productions
of Penn State University sports for both local broadcast
and cable distribution on the ESPN and Fox sports networks.
Programs include basketball, wrestling and the Emmy
award-winning series Center Court with Rene Portland.
She served as executive producer of the nationally
distributed WPSX production Small Ball: A Little League
in 2004 and served as production manager for WPSX-TV’s
Legendary Lighthouses series, which was distributed
by PBS in l998.
Vosburgh has over 20 years of creative and management
experience in public television. For many years she
was production manger for WETA in Washington, D.C.
for the MacNeil/Lehrer Newshour. She has served as
production manager and post production supervisor for
National Geographic Explorer and in production management
at ABC/Kane Production for the ABC/World of Discovery
series. |
