Looking for some holiday cheer?

It’s finally December and the holidays are coming up fast. In the spirit of the season, there will be tons of holiday concerts in the next few weeks in State College. So grab some hot chocolate and get festive!
PSU School of Music Mosaic Concert - although this isn’t necessarily holiday-themed, it is a 70 minute showcase featuring over 300 students in 20 university musical groups.
Sunday December 6th, 2pm
Eisenhower Auditorium, PSU Campus
Tickets $15 adults, $6 students
Cherish the Ladies Celtic Christmas - an evening of traditional Irish music by an all-female group, accompanied by the Tir na Nog School of Irish Dance
Monday December 7th, 8pm
The State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave.
Tickets $25
Phi Mu Alpha’s Holiday Extravaganza A cappella Style - a sampler-style concert featuring several campus groups, including 4 The Glory, The Dreamers, Leading Tones of SAI, Blue in the Face, NOTA, Grace Notes, Savoir Faire, Pennharmonics, Havoc Jack, and more.
Wednesday December 9th, 8pm
HUB Auditorium, PSU Campus
Tickets $3 students, $4.50 adults
Hansel and Gretel Penn State Opera - a family-friendly event and a holiday classic.
Thursday December 10th, 8pm
Eisenhower Auditorium, PSU Campus
Tickets $15 adults, $6 students, available in Eisenhower Box Office and Citizen’s Bank Box Office (Allen St.)
Centre Dance presents The Nutcracker
Saturday and Sunday December 12th and 13th, 2pm
The State Theatre, 130 W. College Ave.
Tickets $10
A Judy Collins Holiday Concert
Tuesday December 15th, Friday December 18th (SOLD OUT), 8pm

Re-Creation: An Evening of Christmas - Re-Creation is a non-profit organization whose main service is to America’s Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and State Veteran’s Homes.
Sunday December 20th, 3pm and 7pm

Bio: Charlee Redman is currently a sophomore studying English and French at Penn State. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, making ambient noise with the local band The Roaring Kittens, walking, and drinking lots of coffee. Although she likes many styles of music, some of her favorites are folk, indie, classical, and electronic. Her favorite bands at the moment are The National, Iron & Wine, Of Montreal, and Radiohead.
