Meet WPSU’s New Morning Edition Host

Posted by Emily Reddy on 09/01 at 10:55 AM

Mel on his recumbent bicycle. No word yet on whether he'll ride it in the winter months.

Welcome Mel DeYoung as WPSU-FM’s new Morning Edition host. Mel has been on the job as Morning Edition host for only a month, but you might recognize his voice. For many years now Mel has served as Folk Show coordinator and volunteer. Now we’re happy to have him on-staff. You can spend your Monday through Friday mornings from 5-9am with Mel when you listen to WPSU-FM. And if you see him out on his bike at 4:30am, give him a wave!
