Our Town: Windber Seeks YOUR Stories

Posted by Whitney on 06/05 at 01:20 PM

“Our Town: Windber” is currently seeking stories about your area to help spotlight everything that makes your hometown a great place to live! This is your chance to help tell your town’s story and to get involved. There are many great untold stories about Windber to share and we need storytellers to volunteer to showcase them.

Volunteers are currently working on stories about the 100th Centennial of Windber Football, Chester’s Flower Shop, Windber Hotel, Windber Rec. & Community Bldg., Fire Dept., a unique search & rescue school, Watershed Association, benefit horse show, Wedding Dress Donations Philanthropy, Friday Night Cruisin’, WAVE, Windber Area Museum, & Arcadia Theatre.

We are still looking for more stories and you can help! To join the project, call Whitney at 814-863-6634 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), or Carley at 814-863-6224 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
