Some Changes to the WPSU-FM Schedule This Weekend
The most listener-requested radio show that’s not on our main channel “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me” will make it’s WPSU debut this Saturday at 11am. (The WPSU2 HD channel airing of “Wait Wait…,” Sundays at noon, will remain.) Also, based on some extensive research that we conducted this past spring and summer, we are making some subtle changes to the schedule.
“Whad’ Ya Know” is moving from Saturdays from 10-noon to Sundays, 2-4pm, beginning this weekend.
Also this weekend, “The Thistle & Shamrock,” will move from 1pm on Sundays to 11am on Sundays, and the WPSU Sunday Folk hours are shifted to noon-2pm from 11am-1pm.
On Saturdays at noon (starting next week) we will air “This American Life,” giving listeners a second opportunity to hear this remarkable show. It will also remain in it’s current Sunday at 6pm time. This Saturday airing will begin on 12/19.
With think these changes will greatly enhance our radio schedule and welcome your comments.
Thanks.

#1 Party School
This year, The Princeton Review named Penn State the #1 Party School in America. It’s a rotating crown—last year it was University of Florida, before that it was West Virginia University. So we wondered: What is it like to be at the country’s top party school? This American Life producers spent a recent football weekend at Penn State to figure this out. There, we learned the definition of “fracket” (think frat plus jacket); the best way to clean up beer cans after a big party (snow shovel); and how hard it is to get college kids to drink less (really hard).
