The Tall and Short of Women’s Volleyball

Blair Brown and Cathy Quilico 1 on 1

On the November edition of Penn State: Access Granted look for the 1 on 1 interview with Cathy Quilico, the short, and Blair Brown, the tall.  These two are part of the dominating women’s volleyball team at Penn State.  6’5” Blair Brown is a vital part of the attack, and 5’1” Cathy Quilico is the last line of defense.
The women’s volleyball team is on its quest for a third straight national championship.  Last season the women didn’t lose a match.  They only lost two games all season, which came in a 3-2 national semifinal thriller against Nebraska in Lincoln.  Penn State then went on to sweep Stanford for the title.
