TODAY: Governor Talks on Budget

At 10:30 today, Governor Ed Rendell will unveil his budget goals for the 2010-11 fiscal year in an address to a joint session of the General Assembly. You can hear the Governor speak, live , on the web. The governor says the new budget will focus on bolstering the state’s economic recovery. He says he aims to keep taxes under control while continuing the commonwealth’s significant investment in schools and while ensuring essential services for Pennsylvanians in need.
