WPSU Excited to Premiere Our Town: Grange Fair Thursday, November 11 at 8 p.m.

Posted by Whitney on 10/29 at 02:24 PM

With stories of fair history, traditions, young love, family and of course…FOOD, “Our Town: Grange Fair” promises to bring back those memories of the great Grange Fair.

WPSU recruited a corps of volunteers to capture their fair experiences to share them in this special edition in the Our Town series. For devotees who have never missed a fair, this program will have you jumping up to identify the people and places you know and love every summer. For viewers unfamiliar with the Centre County Grange Fair, this is an opportunity to learn about a truly unique and fun experience. You’ll hear firsthand accounts of the family traditions and friendships that have been forged on the fairgrounds in Centre Hall, PA. Don’t miss “Our Town: Grange Fair” on Thursday, November 11 at 8 p.m. on WPSU-TV and online at wpsu.org/live during the live broadcast.

The show will probably air during our New Year’s Day “Our Town” marathon. It will also air around next year’s Grange Fair. Unfortunately, it will only stream online during live television broadcasts.
