On Friday, January 22, Pittsburgh-based singer and songwriter Brad Yoder brings his acoustic guitar and an eclectic assortment of humorous and poetic original songs to Standing Stone Coffee Company, located at 1229 Mifflin Street in Huntingdon.  Music begins at 8:00 p.m.  Tips are appreciated for this show, and all ages are welcome.  Call the venue at 814.643.4545 for more information.

Brad Yoder logs over 150 performances annually, playing colleges, cafés, clubs, festivals, First Nights, and even the zoo.  He has opened for a diverse assortment of artists, including Tegan & Sara, the Cowboy Junkies, Robyn Hitchcock, Erin McKeown and Ellis Paul.  His songs have appeared on CBS’s “NUMB3RS,” NPR’s “Car Talk,” and as part of the Pittsburgh Regional History Center’s 9-11 Memorial Exhibit.

Philip Harris of Pittsburgh Magazine declared that “Brad Yoder rules the Pittsburgh coffeehouse scene.”  It’s Brad’s unique mix of songs, covering a musical range from folk to indie rock (with unexpected musical and lyrical twists), that has earned him a loyal following ranging from youngsters through retirees.
