Thursday, June 10 — Diabetes Support Group

When & Where: 6:00-7:00 pm; Mount Nittany Medical Center, Conference Room 1 & 2

Speaker will be Mary Ellen Willen, a member of the Sanofi-Aventis A1c Champion Program which is a patient led approach to diabetes education. She will share her personal experience with living with diabetes. Topics for discussion include achieving good glucose control; learning about effective self-management; developing a balanced, healthy lifestyle; planning and prioritizing diabetes management; overcoming fears surrounding diabetes and finding resources for diabetes support.
