Presented by Annick Haouzi, MD, FASE, associate professor of medicine; cardiologist, Heart and Vascular Institute, Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa. The seminar will list the risk factors of cardiovascular disease, focusing on those unique to women, explain how to manage HDL and LDL numbers, and describe measures to take action against preventing cardiovascular disease.

The presentation is part of the Family Medicine Seminar Series sponsored by Mount Nittany Medical Center in collaboration with Penn State College of Medicine. A buffet dinner is served at 6:00 pm for a nominal fee; pre-registration is required. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
