Photorealism grew out of Pop art during the late 1960s. Like their progenitors, the photorealists turned away from the modernist vectors of Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism to favor instead familiar and often mundane subject matter. This exhibition features ten screenprints by some of the movement’s leading artists.
