This comprehensive exhibition highlights the extensive work Steve McCurry has done portraying the people and landscape of Asia and encompasses his early work in Afghanistan in the 1980s, images from India and Cambodia taken in the mid- to late 1990s, and more recent photographs from Tibet. Although clearly tied to the places and people of Asia, McCurry's haunting photographs take us beyond their vivid locales, providing a glimpse of what he calls the "broader landscape" of the human condition.

"Face of Asia: Steve McCurry Photographs" was organized by the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film with support from the Eastman Kodak Company and Nikon, Inc.
