Former Astronaut John Grunsfeld to Present the 2010 Friedman Lecture in Astronomy

Dr. John Grunsfeld, former astronaut and current Deputy Director of the Space Telescope Science Institute, will feature his adventures in orbit during multiple spacewalks to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.  The presentation will detail the new and improved capabilities of the Hubble and the first wave of scientific results from its cutting edge instrument suite.

This public lecture is presented by the Penn State Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics courtesy of an endowment by Ronald and Susan Friedman.
