Be our guests!! The Countryside Contra Dancers invite everyone to a FREE Contra Dance Saturday October 9, 2010,  from 7:30 PM –10:30PM at the Donald Heiter Community Center , 100N 5th Street, in Lewisburg,PA.
Calling by Terry Bachman from the Lancaster area, and with lively music by Contra Rebels, Henry Koretsky and Todd Clewell of the Harrisburg area.
 
Contra dancing is easy and energetic, mostly involving a smooth walking step.  It is a traditional dance form rooted in Irish, English, and Scottish jigs, reels and waltzes; music that makes you want to move.  The caller teaches and calls all the steps,  to accompany spirited live music. 

Newcomers of all ages are always welcome, with or without a partner.
Wear comfortable clothes, and soft soled, non-marking shoes.

Come try this dance form and enjoy an evening of wonderful music, movement and laughter.
