The George and Ann Richards Civil War Era Center will host a lecture entitled, “The North’s Civil War:  Union and Emancipation in Wartime and in Retrospect” by Gary W. Gallagher, John L. Nau III Professor in the History of the American Civil War at the University of Virginia on Friday, October 2, at 4:00 p.m. at The Nittany Lion Inn Ballroom.
