Help celebrate Pennsylvania’s Promise Month with a blast on October 23rd! Smart Start - Centre Country has invited young children along with their families and friends to join together at the “Healthy Minds, Happy Kids” Community Fair. “Healthy Minds, Happy Kids” Community Fair supports the ideals of PA Promise Month, so it’s a happy coincidence that they take place in the same month! Come find us and many other organizations right outside of the J.C. Penney courtyard at Nittany Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parents, grandparents, and their children can spend quality time together engaging in social and emotional skill-building activities and games, followed up by winning fun prizes and free information. Parents and their little ones can learn how to prevent and solve problems through self-awareness, cooperation, positive parenting, self-esteem and understanding and expressing emotions. Now playtime is not only fun, but filled with so much learning and exploration for both the child and parent! Hope to see you there!
