When the worst tragedy imaginable happens to us...how do we learn to heal, hope and love again?
Award winning poet and author of Slamming Open the Door will be guest speaker and read selections from her book, Slamming Open the Door, a collection of poems recounting the true story of the murder of her daughter in 2003 by her daughter's estranged boyfriend. Coffee and social hour follow the service.
Her words inspire both compassion for - and awe of - the human spirit. This will be powerful service for people of any faith.
