June 28 – LECTURE: MILITARY HISTORY SPEAKERS SERIES; “US, NATO, and European Basing: the Early Years” by Col. John Dobrowski.  From Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland to Incirlik Air Force Base, Turkey and points in between, the US military along with its NATO allies stood as a guardian against the Soviet Union during the Cold War.  NATO’s presence in Europe has been a significant contribution to peace and stability of the continent for over six decades.  Free Admission - 7:30 p.m.
