Happy Paws Happy Homes, a non-profit based in Tyrone, PA, is hosting a local event to celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness Day.  Pit Bull Awareness Day educates the public on the “real” Pit Bull breeds which are people-loving, people-pleasing breeds of dog. Most people don’t realize that “Pit Bull” is a generic term often used to describe all dogs with similar traits and characteristics. The term “Pit Bull” encompasses American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers. 

The fun-filled afternoon will feature dog ambassadors, games, dog massages, kid-friendly activities, great giveaways, educational materials, and much more! Everyone is invited to attend this free family friendly event.
