Mike Huckabee is the host of the self-titled show on the Fox News Channel and the “Huckabee Report” on the Citadel Media Network.  A candidate for the republican nomination for president in 2008, Huckabee served as the forty-fourth governor of Arkansas from 1996-2007.  He has been honored by numerous publications and organizations.  Governing magazine named him one of its Public Officials of the Year for 2005, and Time magazine honored him as one of the five best governors in America.  Huckabee was also presented with the Music for Life Award in 2007 by the National Association of Music Merchants for his commitment to music education.  An avid musician, Huckabee is bass player in his rock-n-roll band, which has opened for artists such as Willie Nelson and the Charlie Daniels Band.
