In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Tapestry Family Planning is inviting area women to free Pink Parties in October. Each office, located in Bellefonte, Huntingdon, Lock Haven, and Philipsburg, will be hosting a Pink Party. The events will include Q&A with medical staff, free clinical breast exams, free mammogram referrals, education on self breast exam, refreshments, a raffle, and more. Participants are welcome to come in at any time during the Pink Parties. RSVP is preferred, but not required.

The Pink Party dates are:

• Wed., Oct. 13, 3:00-6:00pm at 220 North Front St. in Philipsburg, 814-342-6992
