Rebecca Foust will give a poetry reading in the Slep Student Center.

She was born in Altoona, grew up in Hollidaysburg and now lives in northern California with her husband and three children.

After attending Smith College and Stanford Law School on scholarships, she practiced law in San Francisco for ten years, then worked as an advocate and grassroots political organizer for parents of kids with autism and other learning disorders.

She has won many awards for her poetry and has written about autism in some of this work.  Two new books of poetry are coming out this year.
