Jan Ulbrecht, MD, a Penn State diabetes expert and the Medical Director of the Diabetes Foot Clinic at Mount Nittany & of the Diabetes Program at Centre Medical & Surgical Associates, will host an open question-and-answer forum on diabetes and pre-diabetes. During the program, Dr. Ulbrecht will also discuss insulin resistance and how it affects the body, diabetes risk factors, and diabetes prevention steps. Also joining the forum discussion will be Penn State’s Lynn Parker Klees, RD, CDE, and Danielle Downs, PhD. Additional sponsors for this program include People Centre’D on Diabetes and Penn State Institute for Diabetes and Obesity.
