Primitive Crafts Festival and Stone Tool Show

On Saturday September 12, 2009, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Bald Eagle State Park will be holding a Primitive Crafts Festival and Stone Tool Show. This event will take place in the Main Park Day Use Area near the Beach at Pavilions #6 and #7. This festival will host a variety of ancient crafts including flint knapping, more commonly known as making stone tools such as arrowheads. Other presentations include a wild edible plant walk, fire making with a bow drill, primitive weapons’ demonstration, and primitive shelter building program.
