Member of local roots-Americana band, the Chicken Tractor, will be giving a free presentation on the roots of American country and rural music at the Aaronsburg Library in Aaronsburg, Pennsylvania at 114 W. Plum Street, on Monday, July 6.
They will be spinning 78 rpm records, talking about early American rural music, and giving a live acoustic performance, playing the songs of early country musicians like the Carter Family, Dock Boggs, Charlie Poole, Lily Mae Ledford and others.
