Live Music: Classical

S. Andrew Smith, son of local musicians Steven and Teri Smith, will be giving a piano recital. The program will consist of:
Sonata #4 in E Flat major, op. 7 by Beethoven;
6 Preludes from Livre 1 by Debussy;
Polonaise-Fantasie in A Flat major, op. 61 by Chopin. All proceeds benefit the Phyllis Triolo Music Competition. S. Andrew Smith is a graduate of State College Area High School, Oberlin College, and Carnegie Mellon University. He works as a pianist and teacher in Pittsburgh.
