In collaboration with World Music Lancaster, the Susquehanna Folk Music Society is pleased to present “RADfest!” with the acclaimed brass band, Zlatne Uste, for our annual “Picnic in the Park” in Lancaster. This event is partially underwritten by Zita Angelo in honor of Dr. Sydney Radinovsky, founder and faculty advisor of the International Folk Dance Club at Millersville University. June 2010 also marks Zita’s 30th anniversary of teaching international folk dance.

The picnic marks Zlatne Uste’s second appearance at SFMS. Zlatne Uste (Golden Lips) is an internationally known group of 12 American-born musicians. They play traditional music of the Balkans, primarily representing Serbian, Macedonian, Bulgarian and Romany (Gypsy) traditions.
