Individuals and corporate teams are invited to participate in the Penn State Altoona Advisory Board’s twenty-sixth annual Sheetz-Pepsi Golf Tournament June 9, 2010, at Park Hills Country Club.
The event begins with registration and a luncheon at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon.  The tournament format is best ball of the foursome with full handicap.  The schedule also includes a post-tournament reception and awards program. 
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place teams overall and to the winners of various skill contests.  In addition, a trophy will be awarded to the first-place corporate team.
Golfers will participate in four hole-in-one contests sponsored by the Penn State Altoona Bookstore.  The grand prize is $10,000. 
Tee sponsorships are available for $100.  Individuals and foursomes may register for the tournament by contacting the Penn State Altoona Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 814-949-5091.  The registration fee of $150 per person includes the luncheon, reception, greens fee, cart, beverage and snack service, prizes, and use of locker room. 
All proceeds benefit Advisory Board initiatives that support the college.
