Dr. Mary Linton will give a presentation, “SalamanderLove.” 

Linton is the chair of the board of the Wisconsin Wetlands Association.  She is an accomplished scientist and poet.  Her research interests include the ecology of salamanders, aquatic macroinvertebrates, and wetlands.  She has published her research in Ecology and the American Naturalist.

Her poetry focuses on her love and interest in the natural world and her poems have appeared in Appalachia and Seeding the Snow.

She has taught at the University of Wisconsin and Goshen College.
