The George and Ann Richards Civil War Era Center presents, Dr. James O. Horton, the Benjamin Banneker Professor Emeritus of American Studies and History at The George Washington University, who will present three lectures on the theme: SLAVERY AND CIVIL WAR MEMORY

The Brose Lectures, created to support lectures by a senior scholar with expertise in the era of the Civil War, are funded by an endowment created by Steven and Janice Brose.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
