Conor O’Neill (Reeves) is an underachiever who occasionally stumbles across a winning bet to keep him afloat – until he finds himself severely in debt. As penance, Conor must coach a little league team of underprivileged inner city kids. Coaching the league’s worst team, Conor struggles to take a gamble on these children, until he learns of their hardships. Reaching these children, and winning a ball game comes to mean much me to Conor in this real life story.
