“The Changing Face of the Disability Movement”

During regular library hours
The public is invited to attend an exhibit examining the disability movement. “The Changing Face of the Disability Movement” is on display at the west entrance on the News Wall in Pattee Library through Oct. 31. The exhibit, sponsored by Library Services for Persons with Disabilities, shows historical highlights of attitudes towards the disabled and the advancement of their cause.
The exhibit is open during regular library hours.
Penn State has officially declared October as Disabilities Awareness month. Called “Diversability,” it emphasizes the varying abilities and talents of people with disabilities.
