The Green Menace - The Emerald Ash Borer
Misc.
2:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, July 24th at 2:00 pm in the Blacksmith shop at Greenwood Furnace State Park for an informational program on the Emerald Ash Borer. Perhaps the most destructive insect invasive specie is the emerald ash borer. First identified in Michigan in 2002, it is now found in Pennsylvania, including Mifflin and Centre countes. It only attacks ash trees, causing death within a couple of years. This program will provide information on the Emerald ash borer and what can be done to help keep the bug under control.
