Come join us at the historic U.S Hotel, 401 Juniata St. in Hollidaysburg for an evening of traditional and original BLUEGRASS and old-timey music, featuring The Hillbilly Gypsies, from Morgantown, W.Va., and special guests, Blair County's own Mama Corn. A portion of proceeds from the event, in the spirit of helping those in need, will benefit our host's choice- The American Cancer Soceity, and Haitian earthquake relief through the American Red Cross. A silent auction table will be set up to enhance this effort. ticketholders may bring items pertaining to CHICKENS (many old-timey and bluegrass songs have chickens in them) and CORN (Mama Corn) As in previous shows of this sort, our presentation promises to be enjoyable and memorable, for all ages, even those under 21 accompanied by their lawful adult. Tickets are going fast! The hillbilly Gypsies will perform grouped around one microphone so they give a lively, very animated performance. Wear comfortable shoes, as Einstein said! (The fiddle player probably won't though)
