“Thrilling Science: How to Spin Facts into Entertaining Fiction” is a Free Public Lecture followed b

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public are invited to a free lecture, “Thrilling Science: How to Spin Facts into Entertaining Fiction,” on 27 September 2010 by Tess Gerritsen, an international bestselling author. Later in the day following her lecture, Gerritsen will autograph copies of books and greet readers and fans on the Penn State campus at the Hetzel Union Building from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The lecture event is the fourth of a series of presentations on forensic science, criminal justice, and crime fiction. The 2010 Forensic Science Lecture
Series will feature four leaders within the forensic-science field. All lectures are free and will be held on Mondays from 12:20 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. in 111 Wartik Laboratory on the Penn State University Park campus.
