Violinist Clara Lyon returns to State College to present a recital that will include music by Brahms, Sarasate, Strauss, and Ysaye.  Clara studied violin in State College with her father, James Lyon.  Since leaving State College, she has earned degrees at The Juilliard School and SUNY at Stony Brook, where she continues her studies. Her accompanist will be Nana Shi, who is also a graduate student at SUNY Stony Brook.  Clara has appeared in Winterfest concerts with the Lyon Family Ensemble and also presented a solo recital.
