Workshop for Adults: “Capturing Portraits”

Classes/Workshops

Noon to 3:00 p.m.

Photography has long been hailed for its realism and ability to capture the “truth.” Portraiture extends beyond that truth to capture the essence of an individual or group of people. Lonnie Graham, assistant professor of art and integrative arts, will offer his thoughts on the Face of Asia exhibition, discuss photography techniques, and facilitate a photo-taking excursion on campus. Participants must bring their own cameras. Preregistration required. Contact the curator of education at 814-863-9188 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

“Face of Asia: Steve McCurry Photographs” was organized by the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film with support from the Eastman Kodak Company and Nikon, Inc.
