Classes/Workshops

10:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Paint can be applied to canvas in so many ways—thick, thin, gloppy, smooth—the possibilities are endless! Join art educator Danielle Leveston in investigating different ways that paint is applied to canvas in works of art at the Palmer and try them out for yourself. Each participant will take home a canvas of his or her own. Recommended for ages 4–8.

A parent or adult learning partner is encouraged to accompany young attendees; participants should wear appropriate clothing for the weather and for working with materials. Workshops are free, but participants must preregister by contating the curator of education at 814-863-9188 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Space is limited, so register early!
