It looks like the Folk Show will be interviewing Tommy Sands via phone prior to his arrival in State College for a concert at the State Theatre on Mar 12.  The tentative plan is to broadcast a 5min edited version of the conversation on Mar 7 or 8th.

What would you like to ask Tommy?

In the song There were Roses, is there a particular inspiration? Might it be Michael Collins or something more recent as the Bloody Sunday? In the same song, when you perform in Northern Ireland or Ireland, I wonder which audiences request that song more?

On Ireland in general, I want to visit old Ireland. Without traveling up to County Donegal, are there towns that might be less effected by globalization that retain some of the traditional Irish charms?

Black or White Pudding?

If you have heard of a song called Kilkelly, Ireland; what do you think about it?

Slainte!
