I’m curious which acts everyone is excited about seeing.

I saw Girlyman will be here (Do have they have a new CD since their WPSU show?),

Dierdre Flint will be here (It might be nice to see how she performs after touring with the 4 bitchin’ babes)

I’ve never seen Cartoon but I think this might be the year after all the talk about them from the past.

Is anyone going to the show that Neil Conant (NPR fame) is the narrator for?

Are there others? I didn’t even check the People’s Fest in Boalsburg since I can walk to downtown.

Thanks,

Paul

The Vancouver Folk Music Festival takes the top spot in the Georgia Straight reader’s poll for “Best Local Music Festival” – and ties at third with the amazing PuSH International Performing Arts Festival for “Best Local Performing Arts Festival”. We’re thrilled, and totally gratified by this recognition.

There is a lot of good Folk music but my personal favorites would be Bela fleck and the Flecktones
