DJ/Host is Paul Rutter                                                             Call studio: 1-866-720-WPSU

I’ll be checking here often during the show to post notes. If there is anything you want me to know, post it here (keep it clean) and share with other fans of the folk music.
Right now the opening song sets the tone for the show…. I’m thinking about a song by Gram Parsons called “The New Soft Show.” Why? Well I try to keep the shows in the morning hours a bit mellow so no one is awaken by loud banging noise etc.  Probably follow that with a tune from Relativity (a Celtic group) called “When Barney Flew Over the Hills.” and “from Norah Rendell & Brian Miller the tune, “Qui me Passera le Bois.”

OK, on to the show….

The show is underway, nice Gram Parsons song to lead things and now a really sweet song from Relativity. I’m liking it so far, I hope you are too.

Playing some songs from my part of the world now, western North Carolina and the South Carolina upcountry. Which means mountain music. Show is pretty mellow so far, maybe I need to fuse in a some caffeinated songs. What do you think?

Soooo anyone headed to tailgate at the game? I’ll be working at Gate E until kick off then down on the field South End zone…. I can think of Chuck Brodsky’s song about the Philadelphia fans and Santa Claus that involve football but I’m weak in this area> Do folkies not write about football? If you know one let me know here.

Coming up next though are two songs in a row that are a contest to see if you like songs with the Uileean pipes or the next with bag pipes. At this hour about 6:58 it might be annoying or helpful to help you wake up.

Welllll, the show is over and I’m headed to tailgate now. I’ll be one tired dog if I make it to the end. One thing for sure no alcohol or I will fall over.
Thanks for listening and Mike who called thanks very much. Your comments mean a lot to me!

The archive page will be up soon (I hope!)  But for now I’ll post the links on the forum.
