Greg klyma is a pretty impressive singer/songwriter from Buffalo, NY (although recently relocated to Boston.) His typical setlist is a blend of poignant, eclectic and irreverent - expect clever wordplay, contagious energy, a great sense of humor and some damn fine songwriting. He’s got the heart of a rocker, the soul of a poet, and the spirit of Woody Guthrie.
I’ve seen him at Acoustic Brew, at festivals, and in a coffeehouse setting - he’s shined in every setting. He’ll be doing a house concert in Lemont tomorrow evening. In my book, a house concert setting is THE best way to see any solo performer; it’s intimate, often unplugged, and as close as you’re likely to get to hearing world class performers picking on your front porch!
I’m still not sure if I can make it or not; a large work deadline is fast approaching for me. But you should go, and I will live vicariously through your report here of how excellent the evening was, or if I get really far along tonight, I’ll see you there. Details:
