Hi! I was in the Peace Corps in Madagascar but rarely found local music that I liked. Imagine my astonishment when I heard a great song in Malagasy, the language of Madagascar, play on The Folk Show’s online stream just now (10/28, 11:20 am)!! Could anyone please tell me the song title and (especially) the artist? Thanks so much.

Songs play an important role in the field of entertainment. I also love song. But i never hear song from Madagascar. I want to hear it.

Hello,

The Madagascar song played was “Jono” by Tarika Sammy. It is from the quartet’s album Balance. Glad to hear from people about it, it was quite a surprise to know that someone with knowledge of that part of the world was listening!
